that is churning out guns that kill people

but instead this brain is creating problems 

problems that kill peace

because when i shut my eyes i see things 

that no one believes for the sake of not wanting to believe

my nightmares are repetitive, comforting

my nightmares do not exist

and i cannot sleep

worries creating fear creating problems creating hurt

everybody would like true honesty

true honesty is not telling

honesty includes being honest to oneself 

i am honest to myself

and i cannot sleep

i like a child dismembering a doll

tear my world asunder 

this leg represents peace through silence

it has gone first

this leg represents peace through dependency

it has gone second

this arm represents peace through obedience 

it has been ripped away

this arm represents peace through self-objectification

it is still fighting

and i cannot sleep
